Home Trends 2016: From Enrich to Energise
Dieser Post ist von 11. May 2016 by Livarea.
The year 2016 surprises with varied and versatile home trends: With gleaming ornaments and strong, warm colours, our favourite trend „Enrich“ convinces us – a feast for the senses for all who love decadence. An overview.
Enrich your home
This year, you can really go all out with opulent designs and magnificent colours. „Enrich“ embodies one of the most striking and unusual trends of 2016: The oriental patterns and heavy materials stand for decadence, opulence and abundance. Paired with colours like carmine red, plum or dark taupe, the result is a wonderful blend of the Orient and European chic.

One immediately feels transported to a time of melancholy and wistfulness, perfectly staged by dark, warm colours.
The Prostoria Sofa Element in plum or wine red, for example, can be perfectly combined with a dark wool throw. A neutral object prevents the look from appearing too contrived and adds a touch of lightness.

Home Trends 2016 – Gold and Copper
This year, the trend for metallic design pieces persists. Whether it's a lighting object, vase or furniture: Gold and copper can spruce up any living area.

Pastel-coloured furniture (for example, the Livarea wall shelf made of light wood with mint green side panels) can be highlighted by a matt copper arc lamp. But even a simple white coffee table can become a real eye-catcher with the arrangement of some golden vases and decorative elements.

Energise – Energy for Your Home
Brightly coloured and playful, „Energise“ presents itself – the home trend with arguably the most unusual looks and colours of the season. New textures and patterns make their debut here: 3D wallpapers convey an impression of unprecedented depth, neon-coloured new materials – made from expressionistic structures reminiscent of the 70s – and fluorescent design pieces allow energy to flow through the living area.

Otherwise, the playful colours and patterns can quickly make the home appear cluttered and chaotic. In contrast, all combinations with simpler objects – such as a beautiful plain sofa or upholstered bed – truly highlight the powerful shapes and colours.
