This year, you can really go all out with opulent designs and magnificent colours. „Enrich“ embodies one of the most striking and unusual trends of 2016: The oriental patterns and heavy materials stand for decadence, opulence and abundance. Paired with colours like carmine red, plum or dark taupe, the result is a wonderful blend of the Orient and European chic.

Copper, silver and gold decorative elements are also characteristic of the Enrich interior style and complete the classic look. One immediately feels transported to a time of melancholy and wistfulness, perfectly staged by dark, warm colours.

The metals can be perfectly combined, especially with the currently prevailing Scandinavian interior trends.

Brightly coloured and playful, „Energise“ presents itself – the home trend with arguably the most unusual looks and colours of the season. New textures and patterns make their debut here: 3D wallpapers convey an impression of unprecedented depth, neon-coloured new materials – made from expressionistic structures reminiscent of the 70s – and fluorescent design pieces allow energy to flow through the living area.

With this trend, it is advisable to use striking elements only selectively. Otherwise, the playful colours and patterns can quickly make the home appear cluttered and chaotic. In contrast, all combinations with simpler objects – such as a beautiful plain sofa or upholstered bed – truly highlight the powerful shapes and colours.
