Which bed suits my bedroom?

Many of our customers ask themselves this question, as the common bed trends seem to genuinely overwhelm many. The selection is huge, ranging from metal beds, futon beds, solid wood beds to Boxspring beds.

What should I consider when choosing an upholstered bed?

The most important thing about an upholstered bed is its cover. This should be extremely durable and removable. Whether a cover is particularly good or bad cannot be seen or felt at first glance. The industry has therefore developed a simulation to measure abrasion resistance.

A machine rubs a standard fabric on the test cover until it is worn through. The number of rubs is specified in Martindale units. A cover with a Martindale value of over 15,000 is good.

What are the advantages of an upholstered bed?

To sleep as if on clouds, it doesn't always have to be a metre-high Boxspring bed made of several layers. When buying a mattress, simply ensure that it is at least 20 cm high and has the appropriate firmness level for your body weight. Many manufacturers offer models from h1 to h4.

You'll achieve fantastic sleeping comfort with an extra topper. This is a 5 to 10 cm high pressure- and heat-sensitive overlay, which is placed directly on your mattress and provides more comfort.
