1. Acoustic Panels in the Living Room: The TV Wall with Wooden Slatss as a Nature Connection
Product shown true to original. Room styling created by digital staging.
A large window front blurs the boundary between garden and interior. To deliberately integrate this effect into the room's architecture, we use oak wood slats for the wall cladding behind the TV. The wood structure indoors reflects the foliage and branches of the trees outdoors, creating a flowing visual axis. The organic material not only effectively absorbs room sound but also breaks harsh light reflections from the large glass panes.
A thoughtfully designed solid wood sideboard in front of the vertical structure further grounds the setup. When combining panels and storage furniture, we ensure an identical wood grain or a flowing tone-on-tone transition. This homogeneity doesn't distract the eye but gently guides the gaze past the TV corner and out into the green expanse.
Livarea Expert Tip:A slat spacing of exactly 12 to 15 millimeters optimally breaks the mid-frequency range of the human voice and prevents flutter echoes in rooms with a lot of glass.
Furniture Tip for Seamless Nature Transitions: This homogeneous material effect can be excellently achieved with the Punt Velasca Sideboard, whose oak wood finish perfectly complements the warmth of the slats.
